[ W ] ade was born in Blackfoot, Idaho. He and his wife Susan love to take their kids Kalin - 6, Kyson - 4, and Sylvie - 2, back home to visit parents and other family members. (The kids really love spending time with their cousins.)

Cooking and spending time with his family are two of his favorite past times. He also has a great love for the Japanese culture. (He served a two year LDS mission in southern Japan.) His sporting interests are wrestling, tennis and college sports. Wade has also been an assistant coach for the American Fork High School Wrestling Team.
