Canvassing - The Realtor can find houses that fit the specific requirements and needs of the buyer. Realtors can provide information on the location of schools, churches, medical facilities and shopping areas. In most cases the real estate professional can provide trends in growth and plans for community expansion.

Estimates - The Realtor can provide estimates of all closing costs. Many homebuyers, (whether you are a first time homebuyer or a seasoned homebuyer) may not realize that there are other expenses involved beyond the sale price of the home. These additional costs could be in the area of a home inspection, lender fees, etc.

It is important to acquire a good real estate agent. Be sure to ask your prospective agent the following:
